George Munsey, on June 12 (Thursday), registered the highest One-Day International (ODI) individual score for Scotland. This is also the highest score by an associate batter in ODIs.
The 32-year-old hammered 191 off 150 against Netherlands in Dundee in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.
The record previously belonged to Calum MacLeod, who had scored 175 off 141 deliveries against Canada in Christchurch in 2014.
Highest score for an associate batter in ODIs

175 - Calum MacLeod (SCO) vs CAN, Christchurch, 2014
173* - Jaskaran Malhotra (USA) vs PNG, Al Amerat, 2021

Opener Munsey smoked 14 fours and 11 maximums and looked set to become the first batter from Scotland to score a double century. However, he was knocked over by Vivian Kingma in the penultimate over of the innings.
Thanks to Munsey’s knock, Scotland got to 369/6 in their 50 overs. This is Scotland’s third-highest total in ODIs after 380 vs Netherlands in 2025 and 371 vs England in 2018.
