Watch: Babar Azam Hits Back To Scathing Question Over Pakistan's Poor Run

The former Pakistan captain responded to the question in a calm manner

It has not been a great few months for Pakistan, who not just finished winless in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, but they were also blanked 3-0 by New Zealand in the One-Day International (ODI) series and before that, they also lost the T20 International (T20I) series 1-4.

As a result, there have been questions from all corners about Pakistan's late performances and what lies ahead for them.

At the captain's press conference ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, Babar Azam was not too pleased with a journalist's question, "Will you speak on the current performance when the team is finished?"

Babar remained calm and said, "Where I need to speak, I speak. And I won't sit in the media and say what should be done. When I need to say something, I say it inside the room. I won't come here and make a big deal about what should happen on social media. That's not my job."

Babar will lead Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL 2025 and will begin their campaign against Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi on April 12 (Saturday).
